Kelly Osbourne and her weight-loss journey have been a topic of conversation long before the birth of her son, Sidney. The reality star now says she may have taken her health journey “too far” and lost more weight than needed. Osbourne, 38, recently opened up about how her post-pregnancy lifestyle choices has made her smaller than intended.

Speaking as a guest on the Scheananigans podcast, Osbourne was praised by Vanderpump Rules star and host Scheana Shay for her slender look. Osbourne responded with honesty, revealing her post-baby weight loss mission: “I had been on a mission after having the baby to lose all [my] baby weight. Then I was like, ‘Well, I lost all the baby weight. Let’s see how far I can go with it.’ And then went a little too far.”

Her sentiment underscores the pressure women feel to “snap back” quickly after having a baby. Osbourne has also shared that one reason she “hid for nine months” was to avoid comments about her weight. In an Instagram comment, the star said she didn’t want her pregnancy journey to be defined solely by images of her body.

Osbourne’s weight has been a topic since her days on her hit reality show The Osbournes. She’s been open about her journey and has been public about her 85 pound weight loss. She also clarified that the change in her face’s appearance was due to her weight loss and not plastic surgery. “Now that I’ve lost weight, everybody is criticizing and trying to figure out what it is that I’ve done, and I really just lost some weight,” Osbourne recently told The Daily Mail.

“And everyone knows that I had weight loss surgery, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made,” she said. “But there’s this whole thing about it, “well you didn’t do it the right way. There is no right way.”
