In some unexpected beauty news, it was announced today that pop star Dua Lipa and Augustinus Bader Science have teamed up to create DUA, a new skin-care line. According to the brand, Lipa had been using Augustinus Bader products for years and "knew that AB Science was the only partner capable of bringing her vision to life." Here's the scoop on this new celebrity brand, which provides a three-piece, preventive routine to "future-proof your skin."

Similar to Augustinus Bader Science, which is powered by Professor Bader's patented TFC8 technology, DUA features TFC5, which focuses on skin barrier support and enhancing long-term elasticity. “I created this skin-care line to be my everyday essential: a skin-care routine that’s clean, effective and effortless," says Lipa, who is also the brand's chief creative director. "It was incredibly important to me to work with a team that values the use of clean formulas and high-quality ingredients, and I knew I could trust Augustinus Bader to help bring this to life based on their attention to detail and the level of importance they place on the science that goes into each product. The difference between TFC8 and DUA’s TFC5—both a combination of biomimetic peptides, key proteins and antioxidants—is that Augustinus Bader’s original version targets more advanced signs of aging, while TFC5 is formulated for skin with minimal to moderate damage and features a “reduced signaling intensity.”
The collection comprises three formulas that Lipa calls "daily essentials that are designed to fit seamlessly into any routine." First up is the Balancing Cream Cleanser ($40), a prebiotic-enriched, cream-to-foam formula that cleanses without stripping. “I wanted a cleanser that works hard but still feels gentle on my skin,” Lipa says. Next is the Supercharged Glow Complex ($80), a serum that hydrates, firms with bio-retinol and promotes a more even skin tone. “It instantly revives my skin, even after long days or late nights,” says Lipa. Lastly is the Renewal Cream ($75), which Lipa calls her "secret for plump, dewy skin, from morning to midnight.” This lightweight moisturizer hydrates, improves elasticity and helps minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Like Augustinus Bader Science, DUA products are also vegan, fragrance-free and dermatologist-tested.
