At Christian Siriano’s New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2026 runway show, beauty took center stage as much as the couture, thanks to a collaboration with Borghese—a skin-care house that has quietly merged 68 years of Italian heritage with the precision of modern minimalism.

Backstage in the basement of Macy's, where time was scarce and demands were high, Borghese’s streamlined approach to skin care proved indispensable. Led by national aesthetician Gabriel Taylor, the brand delivered swift, targeted treatments designed to enhance natural radiance. The focus: A luminous complexion thanks to a core ritual rooted in just five minutes of concise care.

"What I'm loving about our partnership with Christian Siriano this year is he wanted the skin to have a natural, healthy radiance," Taylor told us. "He didn't want it to look like a heavy makeup look—because the real star this year is a bold eye. It's all about the bold eye. He wanted the face to just have that natural, healthy glow. That's what Borghese is known for. We call it our Italian recipe for healthier skin."

One of the skin-care stars: The brand's new Fluido Protettivo Advanced Spa Lift for Eyes ($55), a multitasking eye treatment that was the backstage go-to for instant hydration, visible brightening and that coveted "lifted" look, all in minutes. "What we did this year is to really focus on our new eye cream to give the models that well-rested, bright look," shares Taylor. "Now, all eye creams promise to de-puff, to reduce wrinkle depth and volume, to brighten. And ours will do all of that. But what really makes this eye cream elevated, which we're calling elevated eye care, is that it strengthens the skin barrier. We use this amazing complex of ingredients, glycosaminoglycans, which are power molecules that help to increase the skin's collagen and elastin production, its natural hyaluronic acid production. We use superoxide dismutase, or SOD, which is also a very strong antioxidant that's rarely used in eye care. It's just so refreshing and impressive."

Also on the impressive list: The amount of facials Taylor had to perform before the show. "We had more than 40 models, and only had about five minutes per model," he shares. "So it had to all be really fast. That's why we also used our Fango Active Mud for Face and Body ($53), because you only need five minutes for it to work. It literally is a facial in a jar. Five minutes is all it takes, and anyone can do it. The models love it because, as they've been telling me, their skin feels like it can breathe. It feels healthier. It feels glowing."
