A much-need move.

Best Buy is no longer just a retailer for a new vacuum or school supplies. Now, you can purchase your skin-care must haves at the tech destination, too. Arriving online and at 300 stores last week, brands we love—think Foreo, Vanity Planet and PMD Beauty—are now right at your fingertips.

Best Buy is also offering one of our favorite new products of the year: TheraFace Pro ($399), a bring-with-you-everywhere device that provides LED, percussive, cooling and cleansing therapy to the face.

“We’ve seen incredible innovations in the beauty space over the past few years—from existing brands to new ones launching every year,” says Frank Bedo, senior vice president of e-commerce and merchandising at Best Buy, according to WWD. “No one knows technology like Best Buy, and with such impressive new advancements in the space, we’re excited to be the place for customers to discover these new options.”

This move comes after many adjustments to the store inventory back in March 2021, when it teamed up with Apple to expand into wellness and healthcare tech via the Apple Watch. According to RetailDive, Best Buy also released health and safety tools for the elderly and acquired Current Health, a home care and responsive remote care technology platform. With beauty on their roster, Best Buy is expanding their customer reach and keeping up with a beauty- and wellness-forward climate.
