Total waist... well maybe not a total waist

I've had stretchmarks for the later part of my 20's.  I was an extremely skinny child (so much so that it was embarassing) so I never really had to worry about what I ate.  As an adult, that all changed and came as somewhat of a rude awakening.  Part of my weight gain included the inheritance of sretchmarks on my outer thighs.  I was extremely self concious about it and talked to my Doctor to find out if there was anyway to fix it.  He suggested a laser treatment but warned that they would never fully go-away.  I decided to go for it anyway, regardless.  It hurt like hell.  The only thing I managed to do was put myself through a ton of pain and he was right because I still have marks, just not as noticable.  It's not worth the pain or money.  Come to terms with it and find what it's going to take for you to be happy with your body just the way it is.  It's just not worth the $ or pain.  It could have been more well spent elsewhere.

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) for stretchmarks

I got stretch marks as a teen on the inside of my thighs. I was always too emabressed to wear anything even remotely revealing in the summer because of them. This was until i found out about the Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments which made the marks disapeared. Ive never been more happy (especially at the beach!) Its a great solution for stretch mark problems.
