Serving a one-two punch with a red-carpet appearance and a live performance of Leave Me Alone at last night’s American Music Awards, Reneé Rapp did not disappoint—and we have the beauty notes.
Wearing a full lineup of L’Oréal Paris products, Rapp, who is a spokesperson for the brand, called on Loren Canby for makeup and Marissa Marino for hair.
“For the American Music Awards, we wanted glowy skin paired with smudged eyes and ultra lined lips,” shares Canby, who used the Revitalift Derm Intensives 2.5% Hyaluronic Acid + Caffeine Eye Serum ($30) and Revitalift Plumping Water Cream ($36) for Rapp’s base.
For makeup, it was the beloved Lumi Le Glow Tint in 140 ($17), Infallible Full Wear Concealer Up to 24H Full Coverage in 340 ($15) under eyes, and 345 to spot conceal and Infallible 3-second Setting Mist ($14). L’Oréal Paris products were also used for the brows, eyes, highlight and cheeks.
On Rapp’s lips, Canby used the trio of Colour Riche Lip liner pencil in More Chocolate ($9.50), Colour Riche Satin Lipstick in Worth It Medium ($11.50) and Plump Ambition Hyaluron Lip oil in 485 Wine O’Clock, which is currently available for under $10 at Amazon. The volumizing lip oil drenches lips in 24-hour hydration and glass-like shine for plumper-looking and smoother lips.
For Rapp’s hair, Marino says it was all about a ‘90s-inspired, bouncy blowout. “Renee started by washing her hair with L’Oréal EverPure Glossing Shampoo ($10) and Conditioner ($10), finishing with the Lamination Mask ($12),” she says. “Then, I applied L’Oréal Elnett Slick Back Cream ($16) to damp hair. I blow-dried with a medium size ceramic round brush. Once dry, I curled small sections with a 2-inch iron and set with L’Oréal Elnett Hairspray ($16).”
