For the 2025 SAG Awards, host Kristen Bell had all eyes on her. To complement her outfit changes throughout the evening, she needed a classic glam look, so her hairstylist went with soft natural-looking waves that have us eager to recreate them.
Celebrity hairstylist Jenny Cho drew inspiration from the ruffle detail on the gown Bell wore to kick off the evening. “I wanted to bring life into Kristen’s natural waves and create soft natural waves,” she said.
Safety first, Cho began by applying a few pumps of Hair Rituel by Sisley Paris Creme 230 ($120) to Bell’s damp hair. “As a pro tip, treat your hair like your skin to get the best results in the final look. Prep is key. The Creme 230 provides protection from the heat and also adds softness and shine,” said Cho.
Then Cho layered the new Hair Rituel by Sisley Curl Cream ($120) with the Volumizing Spray ($115) to diffuse dry the hair, which brought out the natural bend. Following a spritz of Hair Rituel by Sisley Paris Invisible Hold Hairspray ($115) for each section, she created waves with a 1.5 inch curling iron and flat iron. For a final touch of shine, Cho applied a single pump of Hair Rituel by Sisley Paris Precious Hair Care Oil ($125) from the mid-lengths to the ends.
