Kim Kardashian West is no stranger to a hair makeover. From bobs to braids to waist-length hair, the star has tried it all, and, needless to say, has never been married to one look.
And while her hair quick-changes from platinum to jet-black has become commonplace, her latest dye job surprised us all.
In a series of Instagram stories, which she also shared to Twitter, the 39-year-old mother and entrepreneur (she just signed a $200M deal for a stake in her beauty company, KKW Beauty) debuted her new, bright-red 'do to fans.
Kardashian West's usual hair makeovers are thanks to help from a vast lineup of wigs and extensions—her brief stint with red hair last February was actually a wig—but this time, it's (semi) permanent. "Hey guys, I dyed my hair red. Do you love it?," she asked her followers in one clip.
Celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton is genius behind the fresh color job, also taking to his Instagram to confirm that the look is definitely real. "It's NOT a wig before you start with that s***," he captioned his own post.
While we're loving the bright look for summer, with a top-shelf glam squad on speed dial, we're guessing the Kardashian won't be a redhead for long.
