Chrissy Teigen just revealed that she recently had an eyebrow hair transplant. Per Page Six, in her Instagram story, the 35-year-old shared a snap of her new brows and wrote, “I never wear makeup if I can avoid it, so I was so excited for this eyebrow transplant surgery.”
Teigen cautioned teenagers to avoid giving in to the urge to overpluck their eyebrows as she did back when thin brows were in style. After Teigen tagged Beverly Hills, CA, facial plastic surgeon Jason Diamond, MD in her Instagram story, he reposted a photo of the model’s results. “I know too many people, entire generations, who either overplucked brows as part of the trend or are simply experiencing eyebrow thinning with time,” wrote Dr. Diamond beneath the photo.
Teigen went on to explain that the procedure involves transplanting “hairs from the back of your head” to your brows to create a fuller look. “It’s so cool to have brows again,” Teigen wrote atop a clip showing her results.
