It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a very futuristic skin-care device being worn by none other than comedian Chelsea Handler.
As seen on celeb makeup artist Jamie Greenberg’s Instagram stories, the host of tonight’s Critics’ Choice Awards prepped her skin via FaceGym’s Medi Lift Eye ($483), a super hero–looking electric muscle stimulation mask that Greenberg says “heats a little bit” and gets rid of darkness, inflammation and makes you look “fresh and revived.”
According to the company, the hands-free mask was “developed with the latest advanced technology to stimulate the orbital muscles and strengthen your eye area in just 10 minutes for instantly lifted, youthful and rejuvenated eyes.”
Greenberg was also quick to showcase the other FaceGym tools she packed in her kit for the night—including the best-selling Face Ball, the brand’s microcurrent tool, the FaceGym Pro, and the “lifting” Multi-Sculpt.
“There’s a lot that goes into these days…first, your face gets a workout so it’s taut, then we do skin care, then we do makeup, and then we set it.” Greenberg explained, as Handler admitted she didn’t know what “these machines” did. “Then, we watch the show!”
