Jaclyn Smith poses in a color-block sweater and plaid trousers from her new HSN fall collection.

Five decades in, Jaclyn Smith is still shaping American style—and she never skips a beat. This fall, the icon unveils a new HSN line that leans into that Charlie’s Angels legacy with fall-forward pieces that Smith says “inject details from the ’70s to honor the show.”

Ahead, we caught up with the timeless beauty to talk about the launch and the products she’s used forever.

What are some of your favorite 70s-specific features that are in the line?

“There are so many ’70s-inspired elements in this collection. I worked with my design team to look back at what we wore on Charlie’s Angels; what were the key trends at the time, and how do we update and make them fresh?

Our Fur Vest ($60), which I love, is one example. But pieces like our Faux Suede Pleated Skirt ($73), the Retro Sweater ($50) with its chevron stripe detail and color blocking, as well as the Cascade Ruffle Front Blouse ($50), which is a callback to the romantic feminine blouses of the time, come together to bring a fresh modern take on the styles of the ’70s.”

You have done a few lines with HSN. Why are you particularly proud of this one?

“I love that the collection is reminiscent of some of my favorite pieces from the ’70s. That time was such a creative melting pot of ideas and styles. It pulled inspiration from so many periods, and the clothes celebrated self-expression, individuality and creativity. This collection reflects those elements beautifully. It also offers great styling and quality to the customer.”

Is there anything you wore on Charlie’s Angels that you still have today?

“Yes, I have a few pieces from that time that I still love. I have several silk blouses with ties, and two blazers I kept because they were so well tailored. Tailoring is key to any good fit.”

Are there any specific beauty products that you used 50 years ago that you still use today?

“I still use a concealer that I love from William Tuttle, and I still use Albolene Moisturizing Cleanser ($10) as a cleanser for heavy makeup.”

You are also very into your lipstick! What is your favorite lip color for fall?

“My friend Patrick Foley’s new color for Sisley, Sheer Malibu 27 ($73). It’s like a lipstick and a gloss in one, and it’s a perfect shade of pink.”
