Today, the “Stronger” singer announced her return to the judging panel on NBC’s hit competition show The Voice, and marked the new era with a whole new look.

If you’re a fan of The Voice, the announcement of 2026’s judging panel was an exciting one, as legendary coaches Adam Levine, John Legend and, of course, Kelly Clarkson are all joining forces once again for what is set to be a high-intensity, head-to-head singing competition, and we can’t wait to tune in. But, we couldn’t help put notice upon Clarkson’s chair turn that her return to her coaching era also came with a major chop.
For a good while now, the mom-of-two has been rocking a waist-skimming dirty blond ‘do, complete with feathery curtain bangs, but her new gig prompted a big transformation it seems. Clarkson’s first appearance back in the judging chairs showed her sporting a chic, chin-length bob. Complete with a side part and a slight wave, the style is effortlessly cool (as is her undone bow tie and menswear ensemble), and fans are already eager to follow along on what is set to be an exciting new era in Clarkson land.
