What is the most common medical myth you hear?
"One of the most common myths is that cosmetic treatments inevitably make people look unnatural or overdone. When performed with an in-depth understanding of facial anatomy, artistry and restraint, aesthetic treatments should enhance your natural features rather than change them. The highest compliment a patient can receive is, ‘You look amazing,’ not, ‘What did you have done?’"

How do you manage patient expectations?
“Managing expectations begins with education, honesty and open communication. I help patients understand what is realistically achievable, what recovery entails and which options are best suited to their goals. When patients feel informed and confident in their treatment plan, it leads to a better experience and a stronger physician-patient relationship.”

When is the right time to consider eyelid rejuvenation?
“It may be time to consider eyelid rejuvenation when changes around the eyes begin to make you look more tired, heavy or older than you feel. Excess upper eyelid skin, under-eye puffiness and sagging can affect appearance and, in some cases, peripheral vision. The right plan may include surgery, nonsurgical treatments or a customized combination of both.”

How can you tell if an eyelid lift or browlift is appropriate?
“The key is identifying the source of the concern. Sometimes excess upper eyelid skin is the issue, while other times a low brow position contributes significantly. A detailed assessment of facial anatomy, brow position, skin quality and aesthetic goals helps determine the right strategy.”

What fascinates you most about the eyes?
“The eyes are the focal point of the face and often the first feature people notice. They communicate emotion, vitality and personality. What fascinates me most is the ability to restore a brighter, more refreshed appearance while preserving the expression and character that make each face unique.”

What are you doing differently today for facial rejuvenation?
“Facial rejuvenation has evolved beyond treating one feature in isolation to restoring balance, volume, tissue quality and facial harmony. Today, we take an individualized approach that may combine surgery around the eyes with regenerative medicine, advanced injectables, lasers and energy-based technologies. The goal is not to make someone look different, but to help them look healthier and more refreshed.”

What nonsurgical trends are you seeing in your practice?
“Patients are increasingly seeking natural-looking, long-lasting results with minimal downtime. There is growing interest in regenerative therapies that improve skin quality, stimulate collagen production and support the skin’s natural healing processes. We are also seeing more demand for combination treatments that address multiple aspects of facial aging.”

What upcoming trend are you most excited about?
“I am especially excited about the continued evolution of regenerative aesthetics and personalized medicine. Treatments that harness the body’s natural healing capabilities have the potential to improve skin quality, restore tissue health and promote long-term rejuvenation. I believe the future of aesthetics lies in restoring healthy, resilient tissue while achieving natural, elegant results.”
