When I was 16, I went to Italy for the first time with my family, and while I was there I stepped into an Italian makeup store—Kiko Milano—and purchased what would quickly become my favorite eyeliner of all time. Not only was the formula unmatched, the air of European luxury and sophistication the brand exuded made me feel like a new person every time I touched the brush to my eye.

Nowadays, brand ambassadors and celebrity partnerships are everywhere, but choosing an A-lister to be your very first brand ambassador is no small feat. Kiko Milano is one brand that has been holding off on celebrity partnerships in search of their perfect fit, and just this week the iconic Italian brand announced that Emma Roberts has been named their first ever global brand ambassador.

Kiko Milano is known for their wide range of efficacious makeup and skin-care products as well as their timely, limited edition drops—like their current Bridgerton collection, lining up perfectly with the drop of the much-awaited third season—all of which made American Horror Story actress Emma Roberts more than thrilled to be the first face of the brand.
