By Liz Ritter, Executive Editor |
Glowing and gorgeous. Those two words perfectly sum up Connie Britton's makeup. So, we had to ask makeup artist Elaine Offers just exactly what inspired her for this summer cover shoot.

“I’m inspired by Connie’s natural beauty, and with the warm weather coming soon, I wanted to give her a summery glow, with bronzed skin and a smoky eye that could be worn during the day or at night.” Here is her step-by-step guide to getting the look:
1. Offers started with a sheer application of Tom Ford Traceless Foundation ($80) in Natural.
2. Then she used TF Cream Cheek Color in Pink Sand ($60) on the apples of the cheeks, then swirled TF Bronzing Powder ($95) in Terra on Britton's forehead, cheeks and chin. The effect was a really healthy radiance that’s warm and rosy.

3. Britton's eyes were shaded with TF Eye Color Quad ($79) in Cognac Sable and lined with TF Eye Defining Pencil in Metallic Mink ($36). Two coats of Ultra Length Mascara ($44) in Ultra Raven were used on her top and bottom lashes.
4. Lips were glossed with TF Ultra Shine Lipgloss ($46) in Peach Absolut, a gorgeous color that’s very flattering and fresh!
