Born and raised in Virginia, Brittany (we call her Britt) attended Virginia Tech where she received her degree in Communications/Print Journalism. Post-college, she made the move to New York City to pursue a career in editorial, which began with an opportunity to join the team at a beauty trade publication. As executive editor, her role included everything from writing and editing to conducting celebrity interviews (Donald Trump and Katy Perry were two of her favorites!). A few years later, Britt followed her dreams (and her heart) down to South Florida to join the editorial team at NewBeauty as special projects editor—a position she held for two years. Currently, she holds the role of senior editor, which includes involvement in both print and digital initiatives, as well as special projects.

Best Piece of Beauty Advice: Invest in a quality mascara that doesn't run or flake. My mom always told me, “Stop rubbing under your eyes! You're gonna have bags when you're older!” Moms always know best.

Regimen: My beauty regimen changes like the weather. Sometimes my skin is dry, and sometimes it’s oily. The same goes for my hair. I've tried hundreds of products over the years, and some have made such an impact on me that I now can’t imagine life without them. Here are my go-tos:

Skin: M-61 JetGlow Serum (oil-free, which I love!), Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Serum and Kiehl’s Facial Fuel Heavy Lifting Eye Repair (yes, it's a men's product, and yes I'll admit that I stole it from my guy so often that he finally made me get my own!).

Makeup: Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush (I swear it lasts the 12 hours that it promises, if not more), Benefit BADgal Lash, Chanel Crayon Sourcils Eyebrow Pencil, YSL Touche Éclat (an NB award winner multiple times and for good reason!), and Clinique Chubby Sticks.

Hair: Amika Triple RX Mask, Sarah Potempa's Beachwaver, and I'd name a dry shampoo, but the list would go on and on. I can't even remember what life was like before dry shampoo.
