It’s hard to dispute the iconic status of Urban Decay Naked Eyeshadow Palettes. And recently, Britney Spears herself echoed this sentiment, shining a spotlight on her new favorite palette from the line on social media: the famed Naked3.

On Thursday, April 25th, the 42-year-old pop icon took to Instagram to express her love for the palette to her 42 million followers. “Getting new makeup is really fun!!!” she captioned the photo, adding, “I always keep my shadows on and wonder why my eyes go red,” suggesting she wears it longer than advised.

The cult-favorite Naked3 eyeshadow palette has been a hit since its launch in 2013. Like the other palettes in Urban Decay’s ever-expanding Naked line, it features 12 shades in matte, shimmer and metallic finishes, along with a built-in mirror and a double-ended brush. The Naked3, in particular, comprises a mix of rose-gold pinks and dusty neutrals.

Spears is far from being the only one enamored with the Naked palette. According to multiple reports, the brand has raked in over a billion dollars in sales of Naked Palettes since the original’s launch in 2010. Among other beloved Naked palettes are the Metal Mania Metallic Eyeshadow Palette, the Naked Wild West Eyeshadow Palette, and smaller versions like the Naked2 Basics Eyeshadow Palette and Mini Naked Eyeshadow Palette, just to name a few.

Spears has been on a roll lately, sharing insights into the beauty products and cosmetic procedures she likes and those she’s not so keen on. Earlier this month, for example, The Woman in Me author opened up to her followers about her experience with a professional laser treatment, being refreshingly candid about it.

“I haven’t been really good with my self-care,” she wrote in the since-deleted Instagram post. “I haven’t done my nails in two months and I did my first ever laser treatment for my face only a week ago.” While she didn’t specify the type of laser treatment, she admitted, “It kinda hurt though,” declaring herself “not a fan” of the procedure.

Another treatment she’s been vocal about is Botox Cosmetic. In August 2023, she posted an Instagram reel stating she would “never again” get the neurotoxin due to experiencing two weeks of unexpected swelling. Instead, she urged her followers to try the SiO Beauty BrowLift Forehead Anti-Wrinkle Patch. The reusable treatment is made from medical-grade silicone that’s meant to be worn overnight. With regular use, it’s said to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, as attested by Spears herself. “I’m sharing this because it actually really does work,” she declared.
