Social media star and New York Times best-selling author Tinx, aka Christina Najjar, has become the voice of wisdom for a generation of women. With her It’s Me, Tinx SiriusXM radio show, she’s cornered the Dear Abby market for millennials, dolling out sage advice for young women seeking love. She recently collaborated with MOON Oral Beauty—the aptly named Rich Cinnamon toothpaste ($14) was inspired by her viral “Rich Mom Starter Pack” content. Here, she shares why unsightly smiles are a major “ick,” her favorite skin-care must-haves and her best advice in the era of celebrity breakups.

Do you have any “icks” with smiles or teeth?

Tinx: “If you have plaque on your teeth, then that’s a big ‘ick.’ I am obsessed with teeth, and I think a clean mouth is the best thing you can have. When someone’s teeth are just clean and shiny, you just want to talk to them more, so I would say the only ‘ick’ is like if you don’t brush your teeth a lot.”

What are your current favorite skin care and makeup products?

Tinx: “Right now, I’m really enjoying the skin care from my dermatologist, Dr. Jason Diamond. I trust him and I’ve been using his new line. I recently tried the viral TikTok lipstick from Clinique called ‘Black Honey’ ($24). It surprised me because I thought it would be darker, but I ended up liking the pinkish shade it gave me. It’s a classic shade that’s been around for a while, but it’s new to me.”

Which treatments are you loving for your skin?

Tinx: “I’m pretty open about it—I love getting Dysport injections. Facials are also a favorite of mine. Massages are fantastic too. Basically, I’m always up for a spa treatment.”

Can you describe what the “Rich Mom’s” oral care looks like?

Tinx: “A rich mom’s oral-care kit would definitely include an electronic toothbrush from Moon—I’m a big fan. The MOON Kendall Teeth Whitening Pen ($20) is another must-have for me; I always carry it in my purse. And, of course, she’d use the new Rich Cinnamon toothpaste.”

Celebrity breakups are rampant. Have any caught your attention, and what are your thoughts?

Tinx: “I believe we should reframe breakups. They can be a beautiful part of life, signifying the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. It doesn’t necessarily mean something negative happened. I hope everyone going through a breakup is doing okay. By the way, I heard Sophie Turner has been hanging out with Taylor Swift—who better to help you through a breakup than Miss Swift herself?”

How does giving advice to others impact your own life?

Tinx: “The vulnerability of my followers and my listeners continually inspires me. Witnessing how incredible and open they are, as well as their desire to improve themselves and the world, really motivates me. I feel incredibly fortunate to engage with them every day.”

If you were stranded on a desert island, what three products do you want with you?

Tinx: “Well, first and foremost, I’d want my new toothpaste—gotta maintain that oral hygiene. Next, I’d bring my OUAI Leave-in Conditioner ($30) because I imagine I’d be swimming a lot. Lastly, I’d include the U Beauty Lip Plasma Compound ($68) for a versatile and natural lip look.

What’s one wellness tip you think all young women should follow?

Tinx: “Always remove your makeup before going to sleep, no matter how tired or tipsy you are. It’s a must!”

We just got out of Virgo season. What was your birthday wish?

Tinx: “My wish is to continue doing what I love with amazing people, serving my community, and, perhaps, finding love this year.”
