Now, in a TikTok trend-inspired marketing move, Popeyes has added an entire girl dinner menu to their offerings.
Right now, if you go online and view Popeyes menu, you’ll see the chain’s traditional options like nuggets, sandwiches and sides, but you’ll also see a new menu option aptly titled “girl dinner.” The new menu option includes tons of the restaurants popular side dishes, from mac and cheese to cajun fries to red beans and rice. Taking inspiration from the array of girl dinner TikToks, the menu features only sides, playing off of the snack-based nature of the trend.
“With the intention to offer a delicious variety of flavors to ‘Girl Dinner’ enthusiasts, Popeyes designed its ‘Girl Dinner’ menu to offer guests options packed with robust Cajun flavors that are made with the same slow, time-honored, homemade traditions of Southern cooking that the brand started in 1972—many of which defy logic for a fast-food restaurant, but which make Popeyes food taste great,” a Popeyes representative explained in a statement.
