TikTok is an infinite source of beauty inspiration but, as recent stats show, not everything trending on the platform takes the “new” tag.

According to data-powerhouse Spate, the iconic Elizabeth Arden brand—which has been around for more than a century since it first opened its iconic red door on Fifth Avenue in 1910—has seen a whooping 3,000-plus percent month-over-month growth, with 4.8 million views for the hashtag #elizabetharden.

Along with Elizabeth Arden, the July TikTok Skincare Trends Report also shows a “Top 10” list of other brands that have experienced “high to very high TikTok views that are driving month-over-month growth,” including Hanacure, SkinFix, Tatcha, Youth to the People, rhode, Caudalie, Musely, Medicube, and First Aid Beauty.

Out of that list, Tatcha garnered the most views for its brand’s hashtag, with 27 million views.

And it seems social-media goers aren’t the only ones who think the brand is good: “I’ve always, always sworn by Elizabeth Arden’s 8-Hour Cream,” Catherine Zeta-Jones told us in a 2020 interview (she had previously partnered with the brand). “My grandmother used to use it as the answer to literally everything. When I gashed my shins as a child, it was time for some 8-Hour Cream.”
