Kate Hudson doesn’t usually make New Year’s resolutions, but she does prioritize reflection. “I look at wins from the past year and things I could have done better or would like to do better,” the mom-of-three shares with us when peppered on the question during the mid-January week when it’s still OK to pose the question. “It’s a great time to look inward and have a moment to reflect and be grateful. But, if there’s any kind of resolution I’d have, it would be to put my phone down and play more.”

That said, 2024 ushered in with a big win for the star’s INBLOOM brand—best described as a full portfolio of herbalist- and nutritionist-approved whole-food powders and potions—as it popped up on the coveted Whole Foods’ shelves and salad bars.

“It’s so exciting that we’re finally in a retailer and are able to partner with such an amazing company like Whole Foods Market,” Hudson shares. “It’s a dream come true to be available in stores nationwide and reach so many consumers where they can see it on shelves and be able to grab it while grocery shopping.”

As for her own day-to-day and self-care routine, the 44-year-old award-winner says it, in a word, changes.

“The only thing that stays consistent is the way I check in with myself. Every day is different, it depends on what is going on in my life. It’s easier to be more routine-oriented when I’m home. It’s constantly changing though since I travel a lot. I always try to eat as clean as possible and stay away from sugar, even though I love a good dessert, I try not to eat too many inflammatory foods. I think the more you know about food the easier these things are. I’ll always have my INBLOOM Essential Elements ($35) with me since that’s my daily vitamins.”

The Almost Famous star is also consistent on the road and, when she’s not at home, she reaches for the same.

“I try to bring everything that I love when it comes to my supplements and powders. I usually always bring my INBLOOM. When I travel, some days I’m really good and some days I forget. For me, traveling is all about drinking a ton of water.”

And, just as water is a solid healthy habit, Hudson swears she doesn’t get “out there” in her other wellness ways.

“Usually, everything I do is backed by scientific studies,” she shares. “My current go-tos are: Grounding, PEMF mats, meditating and chanting, and hanging upside down on my Pilates Cadillac.”

For indulgences, the health-focused Hudson admits she likes her cocktails, but not “all the time” and her real luxury involves staying low-key.

“I’d say my real indulgence is being lazy at home, since I don’t typically have enough time to do that.”
