It is safe to say this awards season has Carey Mulligan—who is being applauded and nominated left and right for her role in Promising Young Woman—shining strong. Ahead of tonight’s SAG Awards, London-based celeb makeup artist Emma White Turel shared the full prep-step breakdown behind the 35-year-old’s “red-carpet” (the show was done virtually) radiant-skin look, courtesy of Kat Burki:

Prep skin with KB5 Calming Gel Cleanser ($50).
Mist Super Nutrient Super Elixir ($90) onto face.
Use KB5 Eye Recovery Mask ($90) for 10 minutes.
Add Rose Hip Intense Recovery Eye Serum ($135).
Then, using the Micro-Firming Wand ($100), apply the Vitamin C Intensive Face Cream ($75).
Once makeup is applied, mist Super Nutrient Super Elixir onto the skin again to keep it fresh.

As Turel told us, she likes the line because “Kat Burki’s products do exactly what they say they will do. There are no unnecessary fillers in the products and so every single element has an absolute purpose. The efficacy of them is remarkable and they are very user-friendly.”

Another Turel-approved tip: “One of the best things you can do is not be afraid of adding a little skin care over your makeup,” she says. “Tapping a little of the Rose Hip Intense Recovery Eye Serum around the eyes throughout the day can reawaken the make up and add some much needed hydration.”

“I also love using the Super Nutrient Elixir to mist over the face through the day. It won’t disturb your makeup, but will, again, enliven the skin. Our skin will dehydrate throughout the day and this just adds a welcome drink. It’s incredibly refreshing and I like to keep mine in the fridge during the warmer months.”
