Many of the former and current Real Housewives have opted for cosmetic surgeries and been refreshingly open about it. Former Real Housewives of New York City star and entrepreneur Bethenny Frankel just revealed the work she’s gotten done, and it’s surprisingly minimal.
Frankel recently shared a “no-makeup springtime selfie” on Instagram. “This is me right out of bed, braless, getting my daughter ready for school,” she wrote in the caption. The star then went on to detail the cosmetic procedures she had done. “I have dabbled with Botox, but I’m not regular about anything besides facials,” wrote Frankel.
In 2021 the 51-year-old told us about her experience with Botox Cosmetic. “I’ve got to give Howard Sobel the credit for being the one who really was the first person to do the Botox Cosmetic in the jaw to relieve my grinding,” Frankel shared. “I had such pronounced jaw muscles that it was like I had been doing bicep curls for years. It depressurizes. It helps with headaches. It’s just amazing.” She also filled us in on her facialist, Ingrid Tsung, who gives “very thorough cleansing facials.”
Frankel continued, in her caption, “To the disappointment of many, I haven’t had plastic surgery (except for a breast lift). “I’m scared to take chances with elective surgery, I don’t think I need it YET, and I would be the one that ended up looking like a Vulcan alien. This is me. This is what my 51 looks like.”
The star pointed out that she would like to get her roots done, needs a hair trim and has dark circles thanks to a late-night margarita. However, she closed out the caption with an encouraging remark, urging others to also share a “#thisismemakeupfree selfie because you are beautiful.”
