Arriving at the 96th Annual Academy Awards, Eva Longoria arrived on the red carpet celebrating her directorial debut Flamin’ Hot, which is nominated for Best Song. And her movie wasn’t the only thing that was flamin’ hot. Thanks to her beauty team, we have the inside scoop on what it took to give Longoria her bronzy goddess glow. According to celebrity Elan Bongiorno, it took just two skin-care products to deliver that iconic sun-kissed look, and you can get them for under $40 each!

Eva Longoria’s Oscars Glow

“For Eva’s makeup we decided to do her signature bronzed glowy skin while keeping the focus on her gorgeous eyes,” Bongiorno says.

The L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Derm Intensives 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($19) is the anti-aging serum that Bongiorno used to maximize Longoria’s moisture (she is an ambassador for the brand) and hydration before applying her makeup. This dermatologist-tested serum visibly plumps skin in as little as one week through its high-potency hyaluronic acid formula, reducing the look of fine lines and wrinkles along the way.

Alongside the serum, Bongiorno used the L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Derm Intensives 1.5% Pure Hyaluronic Acid + 1% Caffeine Eye Serum ($20) to visibly brighten Longoria’s under eye. Treating fine lines, crow’s feet and dark circles, this eye serum is packed with water-locking ingredients to treat dry skin in your delicate undereye.

In order to make the eyes the focus of the makeup look, Bongiorno used True Match Lumi Glotion ($13) in 902 Light Glow alongside the True Match Super Blendable Foundation ($14) in W4 Warm Light Medium to create a naturally luminous look to her skin.

“I wanted her EYES to pop so I gave her glamorous lashes with Panorama Mascara ($16), a classic winged eye look using Precision Liquid Black Eyeliner ($10),” Bongiorno explains. “To complement the look, we went with a nude lipstick.”

The Secret to Her Sleek Hair

Celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves wanted to create a sleek look that played into the statuesque, bronzy goddess aura Longoria’s Oscars look has.

“This year’s Oscars 2024 look with Eva Longoria is all about luxurious and glamorous hair!” Paves explains. “We lightened Eva’s hair for today so conditioning was key and the L’Oréal Paris EverPure Bond Repair Color Care System Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hold Hair Spray were a must along!”

Alongside the EverPure system, including a pre-shampoo, shampoo, conditioner the 21 in one Color Care Spray ($13), Paves used the Elvive Dream Lengths Frizz Killer Serum Leave-In ($7) to promote shine and reduce frizz.

“We wanted a sophisticated but natural and easy look. Beautiful, healthy, smooth, gorgeous hair that moves and shines on the red carpet!”
