In a teaser video posted to the brand’s Instagram, e.l.f cosmetics revealed that they teamed up with Jennifer Coolidge herself to promote their already super-viral Power Grip Primer ($10). Having already amassed of 68 million views on TikTok and earned the title of #1 Primer in the US, Coolidge’s quirky and, of course, hilarious partnership with the brand is only the latest addition to the product’s mega-fame.
Short, sweet and overwhelmingly funny, the teaser video shows Coolidge receiving a gift box from e.l.f, and proceeding to apply the renowned Power Grip to her face, and then immediately praising the product’s dewy, sticky properties with humorous sentiments and comparisons like “I look like I came from the sea” and “I feel like a baby dolphin.” Continuing with the silly yet suspenseful theme, the teaser’s caption tells us to gather our “Baby Dolphin” energy and tune in to this Sunday’s Super Bowl if we want to see “the stickiest cultural icon get her game face on.”
e.l.f followed up the tantalizing teaser with another post showing Coolidge holding a football and looking quite awry, making us all the more curious as to what’s in store for the White Lotus star come Sunday. I don’t know about you, but I will be tuning in.
