This past week, our New York office was abuzz with the news that Ulta is finally coming to Manhattan. Sure, we don’t exactly have a shortage of beauty shops here in the city, but news that we would soon be able to experience first-hand this mega beauty emporium was exciting none the less (Fun fact: I’ve never been in an Ulta before). Where else can you buy both nyx and NARS just a few feet away from each other?

But it turns out, it’s not just New Yorkers that have reason to get excited. The beauty brand confirmed to NewBeauty that it has plans to open 1,400 to 1,700 new stores in the US in the next few years, doubling its current market share. Although Ulta hasn’t quite confirmed yet where the new stores will be, it’s probably pretty safe to assume that if there’s not one near you yet, it’s coming soon.
While you wait, in the meantine, you may want to familiarize yourself with their new credit card and rewards program. We have a feeling it’s about to get a lot of use soon.
