If it were us, we’d do exactly what Rebel Wilson did on her first Oscar night—we’d make a beeline for Brad Pitt. The actress had been teasing on social media on the days leading up to the big show that she would end up sitting right between Brad and Leo. About thirty minutes into the telecast she posted her meet-cute with Brad on social media with the caption “Told ya x 🥰.” While best supporting actor winner Pitt looked as dapper as ever, it’s Rebel’s glitzy old Hollywood glam and bold red lip that stole the show.

To get a breakdown of her power pout, we went to celebrity makeup artist Matin who broke down exactly what he used on the star’s lips that got Pitt’s attention. “The inspiration was Marilyn Monroe,” said Matin. “Once I saw Rebel’s shimmering Jason Woo dress it was all about dreamy eyes and a bold red lip.”

Using Surratt Beauty Dew Drop Foundation as a base, Matin then applied the brand’s blush and bronzer for color and contour. “On her cheeks I mixed the Surratt Beauty Torche Lumiere ($54) in Rose Diamante and D’Or. I applied the Artistique Blush ($32) in shade Se Pomponner on the apple of the cheeks and shade Grisaille as a contour,” said the makeup artist.

For that classic red lip? “I mainly used the Moderniste Lip Pencil ($30) in shade Bonne with the Surratt Beauty Automatique Lip Crayon ($34) in Alluring on top,” added Matin. After tonight, we want to be just like Rebel. Consider us sold!
