Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban dazzled at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala on Saturday, April 27— but they weren’t alone. Surprising nearly everyone, their two daughters—Sunday, 15, and Faith, 13—accompanied them on the red carpet for the first time to celebrate their mom’s prestigious nomination. And it’s safe to say that the resemblance between the girls and their renowned actress and film producer mom was uncanny.

The event was held at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre. Kidman donned a gold sequin Balenciaga gown, styled by Jason Bolden. Her daughters were equally polished, with Sunday in a chic strapless floral dress and Faith in a vibrant strapless orange gown. Urban kept it classic yet dapper in a black suit.

During the event, Meryl Streep presented Kidman with the AFI Life Achievement Award. To accept the award, the Big Little Lies star delivered a heartfelt acceptance speech, giving a special shoutout to her family.

“It is a privilege to make films,” she said. “And glorious to have made films and television with these storytellers who allowed me to run wild and be free and play all of these unconventional women. Thank you for making me better at my craft and giving me a place, however temporary, in this world. Thank you for inviting me into your movie families. Thank you for my childhood dream that became a reality.”

She continued: “There’s also the most important thing, love. Big, big love. And then right there is the love of my life, and the loves of my life. My daughters have never been anywhere publicly with me on a red carpet, tonight was their first night, so they’re here, Sunday and Faith.”

Urban paid tribute to his wife on stage ahead of accepting her award, declaring that one of the most beautiful things in life “is getting to see his wife be a mom.”

“Her and I both come from tight four member family units as well, so we try to do the same for our girls—keeping a tight little unit wherever we are,” Urban continued. “We’ll make homes of film locations all over the world.”

He even recalled his hesitation to reach out to her for the first time after they met in 2005. “I was trying to play it cool, but inside I felt like I’d snuck into the royal ball simply because Nic had such a truly otherworldly aura about her,” he said. “I felt a bit like I was meeting a real-life princess.”

It’s evident that the country star is deeply proud of his partner. Ahead of the gala, Urban shared an Instagram post honoring his wife, whom he’s been married to since the two tied the knot in 2006. Captioning a black and white glamour shot of his spouse, he wrote: “In a career that’s still very much in full flight, tonight the @americanfilminstitute will honor my wife as the newest member in this extraordinary fraternity.

Babygirl – I’m so proud of you, and as much as I could come off sounding like the biased husband, I’ll let the list of previous honorees do all of the talking for me,” he wrote, followed by a list of everyone’s who’s been honored since 1973. It famously includes Morgan Freeman, Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, and now Kidman, among other industsry greats.
