As summer turns to fall and leaves go from green to orange, autumnal beauty trends are upon us. Jennifer Love Hewitt just debuted a hair transformation that has certainly marked the celebrity shift to fall style. Just last week, the 9-1-1 star took to Instagram to reveal her seasonal hair switch up, showcasing a drastic change from her previously long and highlighted ‘do.

Hewitt’s Auburn Bob

Until last week, Hewitt has been rocking some seriously long strands, complete with tons of blonde highlights to cater her brunette hair to the summer. But, after a trip to celebrity hairstylist Nikki Lee’s salon, Hewitt is now showing off a sleek, auburn-colored bob that simply screams “fall fun.”

Lee herself posted a transformation video that starts by showcasing Hewitt’s long and light style, but soon cuts to a clip of snippings of the star’s hair scattered across the salon floor, indicating something big is coming. Next, Lee is seen applying a coat of brownish-red dye all over Hewitt’s hair, before revealing the final result: a short, silky copper bob, complimented beautifully by a subtle face frame. “Was time to spice things up,” Lee wrote in the caption, and we couldn’t agree more.

Shortly after, Hewitt herself posted before and after photos of the transition on her Instagram, captioning the post “before and after! Ready for Fall.” The side-by-side images emphasize how drastic Hewitt’s hair cut and color truly were, and we can’t get enough of how well the new look suits the Ghost Whisper star.
