6 Skin Care Rules Kylie and Kendall Jenner Always Follow
Kendall and Kylie Jenner may be blessed with good genes and youth, but that doesn’t mean they don’t face the same skin care challenges as the rest of us. Factor in their demanding work (and lets be honest: party) schedules, and it’s no surprise why the sisters often turn to their family skin care specialist, Christie Kidd, for advice. Sure, the Jenners may not be using aggressive anti-aging treatments just yet, but the tips Kidd gives them (revealed in a video on KylieJenner.com) are surprisingly versatile and applicable to all age groups. Plus, as they say, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, right?

Be careful with tinted moisturizers.
A morning moisturizer is a must, but Kidd warns against using tinted moisturizers if you have acne-prone skin. This is because moisturizers are designed to be absorbed deep into the skin, and with a tinted formula, the pigment also absorbs, which could lead to breakouts.
Remove your makeup.
This is also known as the second most important rule after wearing sunblock. Kylie's a fan of Neutrogena's Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes ($5) to remove even longest-lasting or waterproof makeup.
But also wash your face.
Just removing makeup, however, isn’t enough to get your face really clean, explains Kidd. Washing your face is necessary to get rid of dead skin cells, the day’s pollution and other impurities. Kylie (and older sister Khloé Kardashian) swear by Kiehl's Blue Herbal Gel Cleanser ($21).
Layer products from lightest to heaviest.
Use your thinnest product, such as a light serum, first before applying a moisturizing cream and eye cream, advises Kidd. And don’t forget to put on lip balm before you turn in, to avoid chapped lips in the morning.
