The Biebers are not happy with Beverly Hills, CA plastic surgeon Dr. Daniel Barrett. When Hailey Bieber responded to an Instagram user’s comment about her having plastic surgery by commenting “I’ve never touched my face,” Dr. Barrett wasn’t buying it and took to TikTok to speculate on the procedures she may have had over time.
In his video, Dr. Barret compares photos of Bieber from 2011 and 2016. He asks viewers to pay special attention to her nose and says it would not have changed without help from a plastic surgeon. “Check out the position to the nose, the dorsum and how refined it is in 2016, and how much smaller the tip is from 2011 to 2016. That doesn’t happen from puberty or growing.”

Dr. Barret then goes on to say he believes Mrs. Bieber also had lip filler and a genioplasty, a chin enhancement procedure using an implant. “I think she’s gorgeous no matter what, whether she wants to admit to having plastic surgery or not it’s her business,” said the surgeon.

While speculating over celebrity surgery has been a long-time practice, it’s not one that the Biebers are taking lightly. Just a few days after Barret’s TikTok went live, he received a cease-and-desist letter from the couple’s lawyers for using Bieber’s name, image and likeness without permission and that he “spread false, uncorroborated claims that Mrs. Bieber has undergone plastic surgery.”
The cease and desist also states that violations in the video include “misrepresentation, defamation, slander, false light, violation of rights of publicity, copyright infringement, trademark and service mark infringement.” The note about copyright infringement is in response to the doctor posting lyrics to Justin’s song “Sorry” in the caption. The couple have given Dr. Barret a 24-hour deadline to have the video removed and publicly retract his statements or they will hit him with a lawsuit.
Dr. Barrett spoke with TMZ to say he did not believe he disparaged the model in his comments and finds it “crazy” that the couple is pursuing legal action for what he feels is his professional opinion.
