It’s no surprise that Chillhouse founder Cyndi Ramirez-Fulton boasts both business acumen and beauty brains—her mother, a spa owner and aesthetician, is one of 15 siblings, many of whom call the industry home. Yet, the success is still fresh. “It’s unheard of to have women who look like me with parents fresh off the boat from Colombia be represented in prolific magazines.”

“I don’t consider myself a die-hard glamazon, but right now, I’m loving YSL’s Zoë Kravitz Rouge Pur Couture Lipstick ($38) in Wolf’s Red. It’s really good. It’s not super dry, which I love, and it’s a little matte.” In terms of skincare she has tested “a gazillion” face oils but her current number one is a CBD version from Vertly ($110). “They refer to it as a serum. It’s honestly one of the best I’ve ever tried.” The biggest beauty tip she learned from her mother: “My mom is the ultimate caretaker. She was on top of me when it came to drinking water and, luckily, it stuck.”

“I love winter and fall, because I love coats. My husband and I fight about it because it becomes a storage issue. I have a big rainbow puffer that is a piece I can’t ever part with,” except when she hits the beach. When she’s not making her annual trip to Tulum, Ramirez-Fulton gleans “all kinds of inspiration” from @somewhereiwouldliketolive on Instagram.
