Successfully pulling off a matte lip isn’t always the easiest of tasks. And, while we’re making a list of things we’d like to get better at in 2020, neither is finding that “just-right” red.
But, if anyone can do it, it’s Salma Hayek. The 53-year-old attended the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala last night and, besides presenting Antonio Banderas with the International Star Award, she was also sporting a very enviable—and wearable—red-matte lip.
According to makeup artist Matthew VanLeeuwen‘s Instagram, the lip was achieved with none other than NARS Trans Siberian Matte Lipstick ($26), a rich ruby-rose that’s part of the brand’s original collection.
Another hint to the flawless look: Tatcha‘s new The Serum Stick ($48), which VanLeeuwen tagged on the post.
