Today marks the start of Pride Month, celebrating the LGBTQ+—lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer—communities and the organizations that support them. And each year, the beauty industry dreams up creative collaborations, unique packaging (hello rainbow!) and fun gift sets to donate to a long list of culture-changing groups aiming to make the world a better, and more equal, place. Here, 23 beauty goodies that give back, from candles and nutritional supplements to nail polish and high-tech mirrors and everything in between.

Bath & Body Works Love Always Wins Single-Wick Candle ($14.50) and Gentle Foaming Hand Soap ($7.50)

Bath & Body Works’ exclusive Pride collection, Love Always Wins, not only features these two products—two of my personal favorites—but also full sizes of the Shower Gel, 3-Wick Candle, Fine Fragrance Mist, Ultra Shea Body Cream, Whipped Glow-tion, and travel sizes of the Shower Gel, Diamond Shimmer Mist and Hand Sanitizer.

The scent is Sun-Washed Citrus, which is a mix of Sorrento lemon, citron and agave nectar using natural essential oils—it’s a universally feel-good scent that everyone will love—and the brand is donating a whopping $1 million to support the Human Rights Campaign Foundation and its work to to further equality in the LGBTQ+ community.

Lord Jones Pride Box ($98)

Each year, CBD go-to Lord Jones has aligned itself with the West Hollywood–based LA Pride Christopher Street West Association to donate 50 percent of its Lord Jones PRIDE launches in support of the Association’s PLATform
initiative focused on the trans and nonbinary communities. For 2021, in addition to offering a limited-edition box of assorted hemp-derived CBD Gumdrops—this year’s mix is three flavors, including juicy Pineapple, tropical Mango and sweet Honeyberry—in special rainbow packaging, the brand is also releasing a brand-new sweatshirt design (coming this week). Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser ($7) and Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit ($8.50)

As part of Johnson & Johnson’s 10-year Care With Pride 
initiative to openly champion love, equity and care for all people within the LGBTQIA community, Clean & Clear and Neutrogena will each feature exclusive PRIDE packaging on one of their iconic oil-free cleansers. Additionally, $1 from every product purchased during the month of June will be donated to Family Equality, an organization helps advance legal and lived equality for LGBTQ families through building community, changing hearts and minds and driving policy change.

Exuviance Care with Pride Performance Peel AP25 ($14)

Known for its at-home acid peels that rival in-office exfoliating treatments, Exuviance has created a limited-edition version of its cult-classic 25-percent alphahydroxy acid peel to celebrate Pride Month. For every product purchased, the brand will donate $1 to Family Equality, a nonprofit organization that advances legal and lived equality for LGBTQ families, and those who wish to form them. Exuviance is also part of the Johnson & Johnson Care with Pride program, which has raised over $1 Million for LGBTQIA nonprofit partners over the last 10 years.

Sigma Beauty BE-YOU-TIFUL PRIDE BRUSH SET ($49)

In honor of Pride Month, Sigma Beauty has teamed up with the It Gets Better Project to offer three of its most-loved rainbow eye makeup brushes—E54 Medium Sweeper, E38 Diffused Crease and E31 Pencil to soften liner along the lash line—inside a matching bag. To further It Gets Better Project’s mission to uplift, empower and connect LGBTQ+ youth around the globe, Sigma is donating 50 percent of the proceeds from this set.

Dr. Brandt Skincare Triple Antioxidant Face Cream ($64)

This new moisturizer from Dr. Brandt is a free radical–fighting powerhouse thanks to a complex called A3 Power, made from a blend of green tea, white tea and grapeseed extracts that are loaded with antioxidants known for their high levels of polyphenol activity (amazing for skin).

And as part of the brand’s ongoing partnership with Miami Beach Pride, a portion of the proceeds from each sale this month will go toward a scholarship fund aimed at promoting LGBTQ+ leadership through further education.

Starface Rainbow Hydro-Stars ($11)

The brand’s classic Hydro-Stars—hydrocolloid pimple patches—take on a new rainbow design, for which net proceeds are allocated to both the Black-Led Movement Fund and the Hetrick-Martin Institute for LGBTQ+ youth.

The Black-Led Movement Fund (BLMF) is a donor collaborative at Borealis Philanthropy that supports the ecosystem of local organizations that comprise the Movement for Black Lives (M4BL) so that they can drive policy agendas for Black communities, create transformative alternatives to systems that have been harmful to Black people and build local community power. The Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI) works with LGBTQ+ youth between the ages of 13 and 24 to provide a safe place to access basic needs, mental health and physical wellness programs, academic enrichment, and job readiness training.

Sally Hansen x GLAAD Insta-Dri Rainbow Pride Gift Set ($25)

For the third year in a row, Sally Hansen has partnered with GLAAD for a new limited-edition collection of Insta-Dri polish, which is currently the top quick-dry nail color in the U.S. and features a built-in topcoat and base coat to make at-home manis easier than ever. To further GLAAD’s mission, Sally Hansen has made a monetary donation, helping to accelerate LGBTQ+ acceptance and create a world where everyone is able to express themselves freely.

For the second consecutive year, Herbivore is partnering with The Trevor Project and has made a minimum pledge of donating $75,000 in 2021—$1 from every sale of these two Prism products will go to the Project, which is the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ young adults. It will also support The Trevor Project’s free, confidential, and 24/7 crisis services, as well as its work with policymakers to support legislation to protect young LGBTQ people.

In honor of PRIDE Month, Beachwaver has partnered with the It Gets Better Project to help support LGBTQ+ youth around the world with a donation of 100 percent of the net proceeds from every purchase of its new rainbow edition of its cult-classic styling tool (the OG automatic iron) that creates all types of waves and curls with the press of a button.

Beekman 1802 Bloom with Pride Skincare Kit ($59)

While the brand is a gay-owned business that supports PRIDE every month of the year and not just June, founders Dr. Brent and Josh consider this month extra special. To celebrate, they’ve created a limited-edition skin-care set featuring Bloom Cream Moisturizer, Milk Wash Exfoliating Cleanser, Dewy Eyed Illuminating Serum, Milk Drops Ceramide Serum, and a cute rainbow goat pin, and 100-percent of the profits will go to the Ali Forney Center to support homeless LGBTQ+ youth.

BECCA “Hi Angel” Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter ($38)

Another brand partnering with The Trevor Project, BECCA is introducing its final launch this month—it’s sadly going out of business in September. The limited-edition “Hi Angel” shade of the brand’s holy-grail highlighter was inspired by its best-selling Opal shade with an opalescent and reflective rainbow of pearls created to celebrate PRIDE. Additionally, BECCA is also donating $50,000 to the Trevor Project.

RIKI LOVES RIKI x Pride 2021 Collection: Skinny ($205) and Cutie ($60)

Created in collaboration with GLAAD and designed with the LGBTQ+ community in mind, these two limited-edition, lavender versions of the influencer-favorite LED RIKI mirrors both come with rainbow stickers to decorate and customize. “Growing up in a communist country and having the chance to now live in a free country has made me understand how important it is to be the person you truly are,” says Wanchen Kaiser, cofounder and CMO of RIKI LOVES RIKI and Glamcor, who has also made a large financial donation to GLAAD. “Supporting the LGBTQ+ community is a way for me to express my love, respect and support for people who are brave enough to embrace their true selves.”

Alder New York Cooling Mineral Hydro Mist ($28)

Brooklyn-based genderless skin-care brand Alder New York just debuted a limited-edition design of its popular Cooling Mineral Hydro Mist—perfect for summertime—to celebrate PRIDE. “We designed packaging of queer people unapologetically enjoying themselves, which in our society is itself a radical statement,” says cofounder and chief creative officer David J. Krause. “As a queer-owned brand, we wanted to show the joy that comes with being queer and celebrate that.” Ten percent of the profits from each Mist will be donated to the Ali Forney Center in New York City.

Apothékary Full Farmacy Set: PRIDE Edition ($147)

This collection of the brand’s Signature Blends—potent mixes of superfoods and adaptogens for everything from gut health to cognitive enhancement—is the ultimate wellness gift. And to celebrate PRIDE, the brand is committing 10 percent of all sales from the Set through the month of June to the National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance (NQAPIA): an organization helping to develop leadership, promote visibility, educate the community, enhance grassroots organization, and challenge homophobia and racism.

Ralph Lauren Fragrances Polo Red Pride Edition ($90) and Ralph Pride Edition ($64)

For the second year in a row, Ralph Lauren Fragrances is offering two of its classic scents—woody-spicy Polo Red and fruity-floral Ralph—in limited-edition, PRIDE-inspired packaging to celebrate the brand’s long-standing commitment to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. Since 2020, the brand has donated $20,000 to the Stonewall Community Foundation, which benefits an international network of LGBTQIA+ organizations, and 25 percent of purchases from the sale of each of these fragrances will be donated to the Foundation as well.

BURST Oral Care x Christian Siriano Pride Box ($40)

Who says smile care can’t be fashionable? BURST and fashion designer Christian Siriano have teamed up to create a limited-edition box with a custom-designed version of the brand’s popular Expanding Floss kit and a colorful Face Mask to celebrate, support and uplift the LGBTQ+ communities during PRIDE month. BURST will also be donating $25,000 from the proceeds of the collection to The Trevor Project.
