As lovers of beauty, we’re constantly trying, testing and searching for the latest and greatest products, especially when it comes to makeup. With new celebrity beauty lines making waves on the daily, we’re also always trying to stay up to date with all things trending brands. Luckily, a new study by Hey Goldie has crunched the numbers for us and revealed the most popular makeup brand in the U.S.
Hey Goldie’s study compiled data on sixty different makeup brands and averaged the total Google searches with Instagram references to determine each brand’s “internet interest” level. After all that math, the one brand that came out on top was none other than Huda Kattan’s line, Huda Beauty. Established in 2013 by Iranian American makeup artist Huda Kattan, Huda Beauty amounted a whopping 77,000 monthly U.S. Google searches and over 30.3 million Instagram post references, giving the woman-owned and operated brand an overall internet interest of 30,398,554.

Anastasia Soare’s namesake brand scored an internet interest of 25,740,666 while Rihanna’s Fenty came out with a total of 5,792,525.
