With a major role in the CW’s new series Life Sentence, a starring part in the upcoming movie Truth or Dare, and a brand-new partnership with Degree deodorant, it’s a miracle Lucy Hale has time for anything, let alone skin care. However, it appears that those quiet moments to herself—whether it be on a long flight or right before bed—are when Hale chooses to indulge in a little skin care–themed TLC. “Skin care in general is definitely my thing,” she gushes. “ I have a ton of face masks and sheet masks.”

While it might seem natural for a celebrity to indulge in facials (she gets them every few weeks) and beauty products (she’s a self-proclaimed chapstick, Degree deodorant and face mask hoarder), it’s really surprising to see the lengths Hale has gone to bring her aesthetician’s “magic” home with her. “I actually bought the LED lamp light [used in facials] and put it by my bed—I try to use it every night,” says Hale. “It’s good for anti-aging and acne.”

Not only does Hale rely on topical products and spa devices to boost her complexion, but she’s also a big believer in supplements for better skin, hair and health. “I take a daily B12 and omega-3, but I also try to get a lot of my vitamins from food,” she explains. “I used to be into spirulina for a really long time because you can just add it to water and take a shot of it. Then I was into apple cider vinegar for a while—just taking a shot of it in the morning—but now I love kombucha.”

Although for Hale, wellness doesn’t only mean eating healthy and taking supplements, she’s also very into fitness. “I find when I’m consistent with Pilates, I like the results the most, but that’s not what I do the most,” Hale says with a smile. “I love spinning because I’m always so pumped up in class. I even have my favorite teachers in LA at Soul Cycle that play all my favorite music.”

Ultimately, Hale doesn’t seem to be all that different than the rest of us. With a vitamin lineup that can be fulfilled by any supermarket and a workout routine that’s based off of one of the country’s most popular spin studios, it’s not as hard as you’d think to replicate her wellness routine. Well, except the at-home, LED facial light—that one clocks in at a few thousand dollars, so maybe just book it as an add-on to your next facial appointment.
