Kendall Jenner is experiencing a Saturn return. The supermodel is on the cover of the June/July Vogue Issue, sharing with the outlet that she’s not making time to settle down and raise a family. So, she’s loving her auntie life right now.

‘When I was young I used to say that by 27 I’d love to have kids,” Jenner tells Vogue. “Now I’m past that and I feel like I’m still so young. I’m enjoying my kidless freedom.”

While the model is constantly asked about when she’ll settle down, get married and start a family, that’s not a plan for her right now. Jenner also explains to the outlet that she created a boundary of living far from her parents.

“I always have,” Jenner said. “There are days when I look at what they have and think, ‘That’s really special.’ I do like being a bit removed, but one day I’ll make my way, probably.”

The 28-year-old model expressed that she is going through “a transitional period,” saying, “I’m in my Saturn return.” (An astrological period that is characterized as time when external influences are removed from your life.) “I’m so tired emotionally, but I think it’s good. It’s almost like I’m purging something for my 30s. That’s my theory.”

The supermodel explains that therapy is helping her to dig deep into her childhood and talk to her younger self. “In therapy you talk about your childhood,” Jenner said. “I have an exercise that I do where I have pictures of me as a kid pasted on my bathroom mirror, and if I start to speak poorly to myself, I go talk to her. If someone’s treated me poorly and I’m taking it too hard, I go look at her and I’ll say, I’ll never let this happen to you again. I talk to her, like a freak.”

While Kendall Jenner is currently focusing on her personal growth and career, she also has aspirations for a family in the future. She values relationships deeply and looks forward to sharing her life with someone, having children, and creating a family.

To create a strong relationship with herself, Jenner does deep breathing exercises, meditation, weekly psychotherapy, journaling and therapy to heal her well-being. She must also remind herself that taking things on your own timeline is okay, not anyone else’s. “People think that life has to be these massive moments, and especially with social media, life is presented by a lot of people like, All these amazing things are happening to me and I’m doing it all!,” says the supermodel. “No. This is something I have to remind myself. Not every day is meant to be the party. Some days are meant to be the chill.”
