When The Feelist founder and CEO Shea Marie brought her luxe, plant-based skin-care and self-care line (think mineral-powered bath salts, CBD-rich lotions and more) to market mid-summer, she wasn’t quite ready to release her star product with the launch.
A few rounds of next-level self-perfecting—as Marie says, “the bottle had to be just right and so did the scent”—and formulating later, she let the rest of the world in on her favorite glowing-skin facial secret this week: the new Most Wanted Face Oil ($98), a potent gold-hued melange of hydrating, balancing, anti-inflammatory and repairing oils, vitamins and fatty acids that meet 500mg of broad-spectrum CBD.
It’s a mix that Marie thinks will help provide a solution for “people who don’t always like face oils.”
“Some facial oils can be greasy and I wanted something that would soak right in,” she says. “And I needed it to work on sensitive skin—that was really important to me.”
The result is spot-on: While to call it a dry oil isn’t accurate, it does successfully “disappear” into skin on-contact, leaving behind that just-right amount of hydration that’s not overly slick or shiny. And the scent, a sort of indescribable citrus-meets-herbal-meets a hint of lavender, is nothing short of an experience—just the kind of solution that’s perfect for these “too long between my last facial” times.
