This Cystic Acne Makeover Has the Internet Shocked

Acne, especially the red and cystic type, is hard to cover up with makeup, but it can be done. Just take it from makeup artist Carla Moran who recently uploaded a video showing a makeover she did on a client whose skin was covered in acne. It’s so epic, that as of late, this one post has received hundreds of thousands of views and shares.

But here’s where it gets dicey. Can using that much makeup—we’re talking layers upon layers of foundation and concealer—be good for skin that’s that prone to breaking out?

Turns out wearing that much makeup every now and again won’t wreck havoc on your skin as long as it’s not an everyday occurrence and that only oil-free, hypoallergenic and noncomedogeic makeup is used. Lucky for this woman, Moran (she listed everything used in the makeover, see below) did just that.

MAC Cosmetics Studio Finish Concealer NW25

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation 3W1

LA Girl Cosmetics HD Pro Conceal

Carla Beauty Cosmetics Mineral Powder Foundation

Profusion Studio Contour Palette

Tarte Cosmetics Color Wheel Amazonian Clay Blush Palette

Carla Beauty Brow Balm in Brunette

Morphs Brushes 25A eyeshadow palette

Carla Beauty Lashes in Glamorous

Sigma Beauty Line Ace liquid eyeliner

ColorPop Cosmetics Magic Wand liquid lipstick

And of course, you’ll want to remove everything at the end of the day. It’s never wise to go to sleep with a full face makeup on. Plus, we guarantee that even if your makeup looks good come bedtime, it won’t look nearly as good if you sleep with it on.

Please tell her to take a probiotic and open the probiotic, mix with her moisturizer. Her skin will clear. Use apple cider vinegar as a toner.
