Let’s Just Get to the Point:
This overnight patch is perfect for anyone who wants to fight fine lines without adopting an entire new skin care regimen. Smooth on your patches before bed, and voilá! Wake up with plump, hydrated skin.
If You Want to Know More:
Recently, a friend described my job as “get free Botox and then review it.” Sadly, the description is a little more complicated than that (and I haven’t tried Botox—yet.) But I can see why she might think I’m regularly getting injectables. I do get to test products like SiO Facelift Overnight Wrinkle Smoothing Patch Pack ($50), which plumps my burgeoning lines and helps keep Botox at bay. After all, the company’s tagline is “Make them wonder…did she have work done?”
Started by a founder who noticed lines around her neck in her late 20s, SiO stands for Skin Innovation Overnight. Specifically, the products are developed to fight aging and formulated from medical-grade silicone. Use them like you would any other face mask: First cleanse, then adhere the patches to your forehead, under-eyes, smile lines or neck. After just one night, I noticed more vibrancy in the fine lines under my eyes.
The FaceLift pack includes one brow patch to be worn on your forehead, two eye and smile patches to be worn on under-eyes or nasolabial folds, and a NeckLift patch for the neck.. As a bonus, you can reuse each patch up to 15 times (make sure to rinse it with water or wash it with a gentle cleanser like micellar water after each use.) Pro tip: Tie your hair back or wear a headband to bed. Unlike masks that slip, slide and fall right off your face, these patches are effective because they actually stick to your face. In fact, they’re so sticky that they’ll get caught in your hair if you forget to wear a headband to bed like I did. Once that detail is under control, the patches are so light that you don’t even notice them until you scare yourself in the mirror the next morning.

This product can be used as part of an anti-aging skin regimen (the brand also sells a décolleté serum) or used for anyone who wants to tackle fine lines before they start. One thing to keep in mind: The same patches are used for eye and smile lines, so you won’t be able to treat both areas at once (you’ll need a second set). But, because they’re reusable, I created a routine for myself: Monday is under-eye day, Tuesday is smile line day, etc. With 15 uses of each patch, there’s plenty of time to figure out what works best for you.
