Beauty discovery website Cosmetify has unveiled its highly anticipated list of beauty brands on the rise for 2024—and Bubble Skincare takes the number-one spot.

Every year, the beauty platform evaluates the world’s trending beauty brands, considering their social media presence, engagement levels, and Google search metrics. According to Cosmetify, the most notable factor considered was the drugstore brand’s remarkable growth. Bubble Skincare

Bubble Skincare was founded in 2020 to address the skin-care needs of teenagers, though its line is suitable for all ages. The brand proudly labels itself “the first modern, affordable, science-backed skin care formulated specifically to clean, balance, and hydrate teenage skin.” And it’s accessibly priced, ranging from $12 to $19.

Cosmetify suggests that TikTok has played a significant role in the brand’s skyrocketing popularity. On the video-sharing platform, Bubble Skincare’s account has amassed an impressive 2.1 million followers and garnered 17.5 million likes on its videos, with numbers continuing to climb.

Numerous content creators, including dermatologists like New York’s Dr. Muneeb Shah and Seattle’s Dr. Daniel Sugai, along with skin-care influencer Hyram Yarbro, have taken to TikTok to share an honest of Bubble Skincare in response to its overwhelming popularity among young skin-care enthusiasts.

Dr. Sugai, for instance, reviewed the Bubble Level Up Balancing Moisturizer after a friend recommended he do so, informing him of its viral status among teenagers. Although he wasn’t fond of the scent, he awarded the product an 8.5 out of 10, spotlighting its lightweight consistency (notably impressive for its mineral UV filter composition), absence of a white cast, and accessible price point as its standout features.

The runner-up on Cosmetify’s list is BYOMA, a skin and body-care line offering a comprehensive range of products, including face cleansers, moisturizers, and body wash, among other skus. According to the beauty website, searches for the brand have surged from 295,400 in 2022 to 3.9 million in 2023, marking a 1,209 percent increase.

Similar to Bubble Skincare, Byoma was founded in 2020 and it’s known for its accessible price points and colorful packaging, qualities that have resonated with youthful skin-care enthusiasts. The brand’s core philosophy centers on rebuilding, strengthening, and nourishing the skin barrier, which is crucial for shielding against external aggressors like environmental pollution, UV rays, and other irritants.

Qure Skincare

Third on the list: Qure Skincare. Searches for the brand went up 569 percent, from 11,080 to 77,100. It’s known for its customizable LED masks that cater to specific skin care concerns, such as acne, wrinkles and more. The brand’s earned praise from celebrities such as Annie Murphy and Alexis Ren.
