Makeup artist Mary Phillips gave fans a full breakdown of presenter Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ “Blush & Crimson Glam,” including a play-by-play of how to recreate what the Isn’t it Romantic star called the “perfect red lip.”
To give Chopra Jonas the fuller lip look, Phillips used Pat McGrath Labs Permagel Ultra Lip Pencil in Major ($28) to line the lips. For the dark red base color, she used the line’s MatteTrance lipstick in Vendetta ($40). Phillips says the trick to giving the lips what she calls an “ombre effect,” was to combine the fiery orange-red Elson 2 shade with the bright orange-red Obsessed! shade, both also MatteTrance lipsticks.
