Sydney native Claudia Doumit, who stars in Amazon’s Emmy-nominated hit series The Boys, has a very significant arc in season 4. Besides being a fan favorite, her character, Victoria Neuman, delivered a plot twist last season that was dubbed “maybe the craziest thing The Boys has ever done.” While Doumit is the first to admit that her role on the satirical superhero show navigates a “gray area,” she also has some post-wrap beauty moves down to a science—including a tried and tested method for getting fake blood out of her hair, and more, ahead.
What’s the best thing about playing this very specific role?
“Victoria Neuman is quite a morally complex character. I think, as a viewer, you never know if you should be rooting for her or not. I’m always intrigued by a character that lies somewhere in that gray area.”
Can you share any beauty moments from the set?
“Let me preface this answer by saying that The Boys is a very specific TV show—the best way to get fake blood out of your hair is with shaving cream.”
What are some of your go-to beauty products?
“I will forever have the Bobbi Brown pink mauve lip pencil in my bag, the Weleda body butter in my apartment and Tiger Balm by my bedside.”
What are some of your go-to beauty moves when you need to get out of character?
“A hot bath with Epsom salts or a good full body scrub. That always gets me back in my body.”
What are you excited for as summer winds down?
“It’s perpetually summer in LA, so when it gets to be the cooler months, I’m just excited to wear anything that has long sleeves. That and my morning slippers.”
