Good things come in small packages: a lesson U.K. brand Carbon Theory is set to prove stateside with its exclusive launch in more than 700 Ulta Stores next week.
Best known for their best-selling Breakout Control Facial Cleansing Bar ($10)—fun fact: founder and CEO Philip Taylor created in his sink at home; a testament to its no-nonsense ingredient list—Carbon Theory has been credited for countless changed complexions.
“I founded Carbon Theory to create a natural skin-care range to transform acne and breakout-prone skin,” says Taylor. “We are thrilled to introduce our product range exclusively with Ulta Beauty in the US. With this expansion, we can continue on our mission of providing a clean acne-fighting solution to consumers to support them on their skincare journey.”
After launching in 180 Boots stores in the U.K. in 2018, the distribution grew to 1,300 stores. Now, Carbon Theory is among the top 10 best-selling skin-care brands on Boots.com and boasts nothing short of a cult-following due to so many honest consumer before-and-afters.

Aside from the noir bar being chic enough to leave out, the Cleansing Bar features tiny granules to very gently polish dull skin and allow the charcoal and tea tree oil to better absorb into the skin.
