New York-area news outlets have reported that Queens-based beautician Patricia Villegas (left) has been arrested after two women in their 20s accused her of giving them disfiguring, inappropriate cosmetic injections. Not only did Villegas use what authorities suspect is silicone, but she also doesn’t have a license to administer what she told her clients they were receiving: Restylane, collagen and cortisone.

The two victims had to undergo corrective surgery after suffering infections and permanent scarring. Prosecutors are currently looking for anyone else who may have patronized Altiva New York Temple of Beauty and Renewal, which was located within 53-year-old Villegas’s home.

She is facing up to seven years in prison for assault, reckless endangerment, unauthorized practice of medicine, and fraud.
