If your skin is oily or acne-prone, a lightweight spray or gel is best because it won’t clog your pores. If your skin is dry or mature, try a lotion or cream, as many contain moisturizing ingredients.
Remember that regardless of the self-tanner you ultimately choose, a daily sunscreen should also be used because most self-tanners do not protect against UVA or UVB rays, unless an SPF level is stated on the box or bottle.
