The Starbucks #PinkDrink is the latest social media craze—more than 100,000 people have posted selfies with the drink in hand and the number is growing by the second. So what’s actually in the drink and does it taste it good? I paid a visit to my local barista to find out.

“While we don’t offer an official Pink Drink, if customers would like to order this beverage, the easiest way is to ask for a Starbucks Strawberry Acai Refresher made with coconut milk instead of water,” she said. Therefore, if you’re wondering about calorie count and worried it’s on the same level with the super sugary strawberry frappuccino (which it looks like), no need to fret.

Because this is an off-menu item, Starbucks says they do not have nutritional information available, but the drink only consists of two elements, both of which have nutritional profiles available for consumers. We did the math: A grande (16 oz) Strawberry Acai Refresher has 90 calories and 20 grams of sugar. Adding in a couple ounces of coconut milk tacks on roughly 50 calories and 2 more grams of sugar. BUT, a grande Strawberries & Creme Frappuccino rings in at 370 calories and 54 grams of sugar! For a similar flavor that won’t kill your bikini bod this summer, this one’s a no-brainer.

As for taste, it’s very sweet—sort of like a pink Starburst and Nesquik strawberry milk mixed together. The color is perfect for summertime, and it also comes with strawberries floating on top. What’s not to love?
