I think every gal should have the Buxom Big & Sexy Bold Gel Lipstick ($22) in their purse! These are highly saturated in color and come in matte and satin finishes. Plus, the ultra-lightweight gel formula is hydrating, which is something we could all use during this cold season.”

“I literally do not leave the house without the following items in my makeup bag:

Lucas’ Paw Paw Ointment: This tube comes with me everywhere; it’s a moisture essential. I use it on my lips, dry spots and patches around my nose, and sometimes even for my cuticles. I love this stuff!

L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara ($7): This tube also never leaves my side. I’m as mascara girl, and it’s the ONE item that even when I find myself running out the door sans makeup, I somehow always manage to apply a couple coats of this genius onto my lashes. It’s the perfect formula for building and does not dry out quickly or leave a flaky mess behind.

Sephora Collection Ultra Shine Lip Gel in “Rose Petal ($18): Someone introduced this lip gloss to me ages ago and I have been obsessed ever since. I always have two on me. One in my kit and one in my purse. It’s the perfect shade of glossy, natural pink and literally works on everyone! Photo shoots, red carpet, or for the everyday sexy lip, this lip product helps you win at life.

MAC Studio Fix Powder ($27): I’m a shine control freak. And while I appreciate a gorgeous dewy finish, there are so many times where I see people with the ‘dewy’ look all over their face—primarily the T-zone. This amazing staple beautifully sets and mattifies makeup. While Chanel and Charlotte Tilbury make beautiful powders that I tend to use them in my makeup routine most of the time, this is what is in my makeup bag for a quick touch-up that will literally never break (and I can recycle—Go MAC!). You better believe this bad boy is my go-to.”

“A new product every woman should have in her makeup bag is Rimmel London Super Curler Mascara ($6). It claims that no lash curler is needed, so I tried it and it’s true! This mascara has breakthrough curling and fixing polymers that instantly push up and fattens lashes from root to tip. The best part is that its staying power is unbelievable. I’ve been using this on set and not a smudge, flake or imprint has shown up all day! For women on the go who would like to skip the lash curler, this no-nonsense lash wizard really delivers a bold and beautiful lash. At approximately $6, you really can’t beat it!”

I could go on and on about the products every woman should have, but for starters, I’d have to offer up Chanel Correcteur Perfection Concealer ($42). It’s a very light, whipped texture that doesn’t crease, it brightens under the eyes and lasts all day. Sometimes I mix it with one of my favorite moisturizers and use it as a tint for my whole face rather than foundation.

“The one product every woman should have in her makeup bag is a lip color, such as a lipstick or lip stain, to instantly add life and color to their face. If you unexpectedly have to ‘pretty up’ quickly, lip color is the one step that can give you a more polished look. Bonus: It doubles as a cheek color. Right now, I’m loving Rimmel London Provocalips 16HR Kissproof Lip Colour in Skinny Dipping 700 ($7).”

“Every woman should carry in their makeup bag a concealer, powder, mascara and a great nude lipstick. I personally love the new B.lovely lipstick ($26). It’s universally flattering on all skin types and a true matte blush nude that works with any makeup look or wardrobe! If you like a little bit more makeup in your routine, I would suggest having a blush, bronzer and highlighter—it’s great to give you a little glow, and I like putting the highlighter in the corner of my eyes to brighten and make me look more awake. Here are my go-tos:

Concealer: Eve Lom Light Illusion Concealer ($40). It is very user-friendly with a brush attached to help blend it better on the skin.

Powder: Julie Hewett Translucent Oat Powder ($42)

Highlighter: Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in either liquid ($41) or pressed ($38) form

Blush: Bora Bora by Girlactik ($19). It’s universally flattering and super similar to NARS Orgasm blush

Bronzer: Kevyn Aucoin The Celestial Bronzing Veil in Tropical Nights ($48). It has a slight shimmer to it, giving it a natural-looking glow.”
