About Me

A Variety of Noninvasive Options

“I’m very excited about noninvasive procedures, especially CoolSculpting®,” says Dr. McCafferty. “I believe Kybella™, which was recently approved by the FDA for spot removal of submental fat, will also be very popular.” His practice also offers a number of injectables and fillers for those looking for results without surgery. “We offer many injectables including the neuromodulators such as Botox®, Dysport® and Xeomin®, and utilize all fillers.” And with two full-time licensed aestheticians on staff, the noninvasive options are vast. The en suite skin-care spa offers a menu of nonsurgical treatments and services such as microdermabrasion, micropeels, ZO® Medical and the VI Peel™, as well as products from PCA Clinical Skin Care and SkinMedica®

A Passion for Plastic Surgery

Dr. McCafferty’s interest in the field that would become his life’s work began in a lecture hall during his third year of medical school. “The professor showed us a picture of a young boy’s face mauled by a pit bull, followed by a picture of that boy’s face superbly repaired,” says Dr. McCafferty. “A light went on and I thought, ‘Wow, I would like to do something like that.’ I began to research plastic surgeons and was fascinated by Dr. D. Ralph Millard, Jr. in Miami. I never saw such beautiful surgery or such an agile, brilliant mind in my life. I knew at that moment, that I not only wanted to become a plastic surgeon, but I wanted to train with him.”
