EXPERT Q&A

Q: Besides forehead lines, what is Botox used to treat?

What our experts say:

Off-label, we use it for crow’s feet, the neck, bunny lines on the nose (the vertical lines on the sides of the nose when you sniff), chins that are over-reactive (they move a lot when they talk), and the lateral angels of the mouth (the very active muscles that depress the corners of the mouth). You can also treat flared nostrils, the very fine cigarette smokers lines (the tiny lines seen when they purse their lips), and hyperhidrosis (excess sweating).
